The holidays. They are upon us. There is no escaping them. Well, I guess you could lock yourself inside, hide under a cozy blanket, and watch a never-ending stream of Hallmark movies and avoid it all but who wants to do that?

We all have expectations of how the Christmas season should look. Instead of visions of sugar plum fairies dancing in our heads, we have visions of perfectly placed ornaments and a tree that glows just right when we post it on Instagram.

We feel the pressure: the expectations others have for us this season and the ones we put on ourselves. Let us flush that out with you as we chat about the expectations we face and how we are choosing to release the grip just a little bit.
